Welcome to our blog!

1,000 Vegan RecipesAs you can see by the description on the right, we are six vegans cooking our way through Robin Robertson's 1,000 Vegan Recipes in no particular order. Our goal isn't to cook every single thing but to cook as much as we can out of it and only the dishes that appeal to us — and of course have fun at the same time.

If you don't have this book, get it. You'll thank us later.

Now a little about us:

Batgirl

Batgirl lives and cooks in Sandy, UT with her ninja-husband and super-toddler. In addition to cooking for and feeding her loved ones, her interests include computery things, video games, comic books, reading, and getting into mischief of one sort or another. When she's not saving the world, she's working on her forthcoming cookbook, Vegancognito: 153 Sneakily Delicious Dishes That Bring Omnivores and Herbivores to the Same Table.

Gymmie

"While I still feel like a novice cook I love trying new recipes and expanding my cooking level. I have been vegan for 3 years now and love scouring cookbooks and the web for new recipes to try. When I'm not cooking I love watching various Auto Racing Series or surfing the internet."

Ms. Veganorama

Originally from the Great White North, Ms. Veganorama is a new resident of the city of brotherly love after a two year stint in the capital of Virginia. She lives and breathes all things food — buying (and reading) cookbooks, scouring blogs, researching restaurants and talking about food (past, present and future meals). Her other interests include art, design, photography, video games and (true) animal rights. She shares her home with "the Mr." (also sometimes referred to as "the boy") and their rescued furkids of the canine and feline variety.

The Divine Miss V

The Divine Miss V is a DC vegan, and a transplanted dirty pirate hooker from the Sunshine State. She has a soft spot for hounds, rum, buys too many shoes, makes fun of religious nuts, likes her kitchen all to herself, and believes baby corn is of the devil.

Ulpia

Hailing from Transylvania, Ulpia is ever on the prowl for her next yummy morsel. When not dancing in her kitchen or roaming the world for interesting new eats, she can be found loving on historical figures, scribbling some prose, running slaloms through the clouds, or drawing on the corner of her notebook.

vegankitty

Francesca likes to cook food and then eat it, when her cats allow her to. All food is taste tested by her three cats and one dog.
